Here's a little bit about me:

• I'm 22
• I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2009 with a double major in Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences
• I am starting full-time as a software engineer at Facebook on March 1st
• I like doing many things! Here are some of my favorite:
  • Traveling
  • Playing guitar
  • Running
  • Hiking
  • Building anything
  • Playing basketball
  • Swimming, especially in the ocean!
• I also speak Spanish (not fluent, but decent).
  • I'm at the point where I am mainly just expanding my vocabulary and practicing in conversation. If you would like to talk Spanish for practice let me know! As long as you can hold a conversation I would love to practice with you.
  • Also, I am very interested in language-learning strategies. If you have any ideas on what you think works or doesn't work let me know. I think that we are at an interesting point in language learning where we will soon see huge breakthroughs thanks to research on the human brain combined with the internet and better software that incorporates video and natural language processing.
